Working within your vision, I will produce narrative content for your art book, roleplaying game, comic, or other medium. Your characters, settings, and themes expressed in biographies, setting histories, world lore, or full-on short story narratives, depending on your needs and desires, with rates negotiated on a per project base to fit your budget.

Proofreading is a line-by-line process which focuses mainly on grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. If you are confident in the quality of your writing but want another set of eyes on the minutiae of the mechanical aspects of writing, this will be useful for you.

Developmental editing is generally the type of broad, big picture editing that a text receives first. I will evaluate a text's overall flow, consistency, and major themes and ideas. Developmental editing also looks for holes in logic or plot. Another important function of developmental editing is to uncover any major flaws which might turn readers off.

I will look adapt your text to make it more understandable, relatable, and natural as an English text. Naturalization does not include translation, but often is most useful for works previously translated into English from another language, or written by speakers of other languages.

During a line editing phase, I will study a text line-by-line for flow and consistency, especially in terms of theme and characterization. I will also look at things like word choice, paragraph balance, and tone. I will suggest ways to "spice up", enliven, or bring gravity to the text to suit the shape of the narrative. Unlike many editors, I include proofreading here.
